WAKE-UP America!

YOU are about to be bamboozled, again! It's time to PAY ATTENTION, people! As important as it is to remove the 'bail-out' provision from the spending bill, there are TWO other line items that are not very palpable either. Much has been aired about the proposed $1.1 Trillion spending bill that will allow the U.S. Federal Government to continue 'working'. (I use that term 'working' very loosely.) Those who have paid any attention have heard all about the provision of the bill that permits the rollback of the Dodd-Frank Financial Regulation bill that attempted, however meagerly, to reign in Wall Street and big banks to avert another huge bail-out in the future. The proposed rule attached to the spending bill ASSURES that no matter how big of a gamble banks take in playing 'Russian Roulette' with derivatives, hedge funds and the like, the banks will walk away, Scott free, just as they did 6 yrs. ago, and the federal government, YOUR tax dollars will pick up the tab.

The first line item that YOU need to consider is the fact that a full 60% of that $1.1TRILLION dollars, in other words $660,000,000,000, is for military spending. We are talking about $660,000,000,000 more for a military industrial complex that cannot even account for the Trillions of dollars they have already received over the years. Are you aware that there has not been an audit done on our military because so much has been lost, stolen, wasted they do not even know where to begin. The saddest part of this $660,000,000,000 is that the military industrials will receive this bankroll instead of our soldiers and their families who have suffered the most. The largest percentage of our homeless are men who fought for our country, fought for YOUR country, and yet they go hungry, cold and ailing while Lockheed-Martin, Boeing and Northrup-Grumman continue to post record profits and executive earnings. It is doubtful that the corporate executives of this big three will ever go hungry, homeless or ill. There has also been a serious breakdown in the leadership of our military. Countless colonels, generals, admirals have no fiscal management skills at all. We have no idea just how many weapons we possess. We have other weapons, such as the nuclear warheads in the ground in Wyoming and The Dakotas that are in such disrepair they have become a horrific problem that no one seems to care about. Nuclear warheads in missile silos that are coming apart at the seems, quite literally. We have young men and women serving in the military who are being pushed to and frequently past their breaking points because they are so overworked and underpaid but, rest assured, the top brass doesn't have this problem. Much like the citizens of the United States, the employees slave while those at the top are rolling in the profits. Before we give any more money away, we desperately need to have an audit AND some rules for accountability.

Possibly the biggest line item the greedy bastards are trying to slip by the citizens is the removal of any accountability for YOUR PENSION AND RETIREMENT Funds!! Are you listening now? YES, the Congress of the United States of America is trying to sneak in a line item in the $1.1Trillion Spending Bill that would allow your company to change the terms of your retirement and/or make risky investments with the money YOU HAVE SAVED, all without your knowledge or approval. Basically, you could be left with only Social Security to live on and of course, that is if the Congress that YOU put in charge by your votes, or the lack thereof, does not eviscerate that fund as they have been trying to do. YOU could become one of the millions of 'losers' (as they are looked upon) who deserve only the bare minimal to survive on because YOU didn't plan very well for your retirement. Many of these 'losers' today are seniors who worked their fingers to the bone and had a retirement that 'disappeared' in the 2008 Great Recession OR believed the government when they were told that Social Security was their retirement plan. They paid into it for many, many years, just as you may be doing today. So many seniors are going hungry because the fact that they have no money is their 'own stupid fault', right? If you do not want to become a 'loser' when you retire, CALL YOUR SENATOR NOW! It's time for YOU to stand up for YOUR RIGHTS!
